Lenovo ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 arrives with Intel Panther Lake, up to 64GB RAM, and a compact business-ready design
Lenovo has expanded its premium business laptop lineup with the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2, a 14-inch convertible designed for professionals who want portability, flexibility, and strong productivity hardware in one device. The new model brings Intel’s Panther Lake platform to the ThinkPad 2-in-1 family, along with configuration options that go all the way up to 64GB of RAM.
The ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 was first introduced in March and now appears to be rolling out across international markets. It sits alongside the standard ThinkPad T14s, which has moved to its Gen 7 version, but this convertible model is aimed at users who prefer a laptop that can also function as a tablet for note-taking, presentations, sketching, and on-the-go work.
One of the standout details is how much Lenovo has managed to fit into a slim and lightweight chassis. The laptop weighs just 1.25 kg and measures 313 x 224 x 12.06–20.15 mm, making it easy to carry while still offering a practical 14-inch display. Despite the compact footprint, Lenovo has retained full-sized arrow keys, a feature many business users still value for spreadsheets, document editing, and navigation.
The device also includes a built-in pen holder, with Lenovo’s Magnetic Pen sold separately in some markets or configurations. Combined with the 360-degree hinge, this makes the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 suitable for users who regularly switch between typing, annotating, and touchscreen input.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel Panther Lake processors, replacing the Intel Arrow Lake chips used in the previous generation. Available processor options vary by region, but listings show several choices, including:
Core Ultra 5 325
Core Ultra 5 335 vPro
Core Ultra 7 355
Core Ultra 7 365 vPro
Core Ultra 7 356H
Core Ultra 7 366H
The highest memory configuration reaches 64GB of RAM, but Lenovo currently pairs that option with the Core Ultra 7 366H processor. Storage options include PCIe 5.0 SSDs in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, depending on the market.
Display choices are focused on 14-inch 1200p IPS panels. The entry-level configuration includes a 400-nit screen with 45% NTSC color coverage and a 60Hz refresh rate. Higher-end panel options improve brightness to 500 nits and offer 100% sRGB color coverage, though all listed displays remain limited to 60Hz. That makes the laptop better suited for office productivity, business travel, and creative note-taking rather than high-refresh-rate entertainment or gaming.
Pricing appears higher than Lenovo’s earlier expectations. The ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 was initially expected to start at around €1,750 in the Eurozone, but current European pricing is listed between €2,079 and €2,299. In the UK, the laptop is priced at £1,999.
Part of the higher pricing may come down to Lenovo’s starting configurations in some regions. In Europe and the UK, the base models currently include 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, a Core Ultra 5 325 processor, and the 1200p IPS display.
Australia offers a wider set of configuration options. There, the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 starts at AUD 3,349 with 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and a Core Ultra 5 325 processor. The top-end configuration with a Core Ultra 7 366H and 64GB of RAM is listed at AUD 6,489, making it significantly more expensive than the base model.
With its lightweight build, convertible design, Intel Panther Lake processors, optional high-capacity memory, full-sized arrow keys, and classic ThinkPad styling, the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 is clearly positioned as a premium business convertible. It is not the most affordable 14-inch laptop on the market, but for professionals who want a durable ThinkPad with tablet flexibility and modern hardware, it could be one of Lenovo’s more interesting releases this year.
