Lenovo Unveils 14-Inch Powerhouse Laptop With 120Hz OLED Display and Up to 96GB RAM

Lenovo has expanded its mobile workstation lineup with the new ThinkPad P14s Gen 7, a compact 14-inch laptop designed for professionals who need strong performance, flexible hardware options, and business-ready connectivity in a portable package.

One of the standout features of the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 is its unusually wide range of memory configurations. Buyers can choose from 16 GB, 24 GB, 32 GB, 40 GB, 48 GB, 56 GB, 64 GB, 80 GB, or even 96 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. These options are made possible through combinations of 8 GB, 12 GB, 32 GB, and 48 GB memory modules, giving users more flexibility than is typically seen in this class of laptop.

Storage options are also modern and performance-focused. Lenovo offers the new ThinkPad P14s with PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 SSD choices, with capacities available up to 2 TB. This makes the laptop suitable for demanding workflows such as data analysis, engineering tasks, business productivity, creative work, and multitasking with large files.

The display selection includes three 14-inch IPS panels with 1200p resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. For users who want a sharper and more premium visual experience, Lenovo also offers a 2.8K OLED display option. This OLED panel reaches up to 500 nits of peak brightness and supports a variable refresh rate from 30 Hz to 120 Hz. It also features an anti-glare finish, making it more practical for work in bright offices, travel environments, or shared workspaces.

Battery life should also be configurable depending on user needs. The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 can be equipped with either a 60 Wh or 75 Wh battery, allowing buyers to prioritize lighter weight or longer unplugged use. Like many newer ThinkPad models, it can also be configured with an optional Snapdragon X61 5G sub-6 GHz modem, making it a strong choice for professionals who need reliable connectivity while working away from Wi-Fi.

In terms of pricing, the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 starts at £1,990 in the UK with a Ryzen AI 5 Pro 440 processor and 16 GB of RAM. In Australia, the same configuration is listed at AUD 2,979. Across parts of Europe, pricing ranges from approximately €2,069 to €2,360, depending on the market. Availability and pricing for other regions have not yet been confirmed.

With its compact 14-inch design, broad RAM options, high-speed SSD support, optional 5G connectivity, and available 2.8K OLED display, the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 is positioned as a versatile workstation laptop for business users, developers, creators, and professionals who need dependable performance in a travel-friendly form factor.
