Lenovo ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist Arrives With a Bright OLED Display and Long Battery Life
Lenovo has shared new details about the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist, a distinctive 14-inch laptop designed for users who want premium display quality, strong performance, and extended battery life in a compact machine.
The ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist will be offered with Intel’s latest processor options, including the Core Ultra 5 325 and the Core Ultra X7 358H. Buyers will also be able to configure the laptop with up to 32 GB of RAM, making it suitable for everyday productivity, multitasking, content creation, and business workloads.
For storage, Lenovo has included an M.2 2280 slot inside the laptop. However, factory configurations will ship with M.2 2242 SSDs. This means users may have some flexibility for storage upgrades, depending on the final model and regional availability.
One of the standout features is the 75 Wh battery. Lenovo claims the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist can last more than 21 hours based on the JEITA-BAT 3.0 battery test. Real-world battery life will likely depend on brightness, workload, connectivity, and display settings, but the large battery should make the laptop appealing to users who need a device that can last through a full workday and beyond.
The display is another major highlight. Lenovo will sell the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist exclusively with a 14-inch OLED screen. The panel offers a sharp 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, delivering crisp visuals for documents, media, creative apps, and general browsing.
The OLED display also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, which should make it attractive for users who value rich colors and strong contrast. It supports a variable refresh rate ranging from 30 Hz to 120 Hz, allowing the screen to balance smooth visuals with power efficiency depending on the task.
Brightness is impressive as well. The panel reaches up to 500 nits in SDR mode and can hit 1,100 nits when displaying HDR content. That level of HDR brightness is especially notable for a 14-inch laptop and should improve the viewing experience when watching compatible videos or working with HDR visuals.
Despite revealing the laptop’s main specifications, Lenovo has not yet confirmed when the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist will officially go on sale. Pricing and regional launch details also remain unclear for now.
Until then, Lenovo’s ThinkBook lineup continues to offer other 14-inch business-focused options, including the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9. However, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist stands out as one of the more interesting upcoming models thanks to its high-resolution OLED display, modern Intel processor choices, large battery, and premium screen brightness.
