Lenovo is widening the launch of its newest Panther Lake laptop. After unveiling the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra at CES 2026 and rolling it out in the UK, Lenovo has now brought the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition to the United States, giving buyers on this side of the Atlantic a first chance to pick up one of Intel’s latest Core Ultra-powered thin-and-light machines.
Right now, US shoppers won’t find every version that was talked about at CES. Lenovo is currently listing only the entry configuration built around the Intel Core Ultra 7 355, which serves as the base model for the Panther Lake lineup. Pricing starts at $1,629.99 through Lenovo’s official store.
Even in its current US configuration, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition is positioned as a premium ultraportable. The Core Ultra 7 355 comes paired with 32GB of RAM, and storage options go up to 2TB using PCIe Gen 4. That combination targets users who want a fast everyday laptop for high-end productivity, heavy multitasking, and creative workflows, without stepping up to a larger, heavier machine.
A big focus is the display. Lenovo equips the laptop with a 2.8K OLED panel running at 120Hz, aimed at smooth motion and a high-contrast viewing experience. The screen is rated for 100% coverage of both Display-P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces, which is especially relevant for photo and video work, and it’s listed with up to 1,100 nits peak brightness for punchy HDR-style highlights and better visibility in bright environments.
Portability remains a key selling point. Lenovo says the chassis is as thin as 13.99mm and weighs about 2.15 pounds, making it easy to carry for commuting, travel, or moving between classrooms and offices. Connectivity is modern as well, with three Thunderbolt 4 ports for high-speed accessories and displays, plus WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the latest wireless standards.
Powering the system is a 75Wh battery, and Lenovo highlights a cooling solution designed to let the Panther Lake processor sustain up to 40W TDP performance. Other quality-of-life features include Rapid Charge Express for quicker top-ups, a quad-speaker array tuned with Dolby Atmos for richer audio, and a 3D noise-cancelling microphone setup intended to improve call clarity.
Lenovo also previously confirmed that higher-end versions are on the way. At CES 2026, the company said the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra lineup would extend up to a Core Ultra X9 388H option, which is expected to feature Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics. That top-tier configuration is anticipated to arrive sometime between April and June 2026, giving shoppers who want the most powerful Panther Lake variant a clear window to watch.
