Leaked Details Hint Pokémon Champions Season 2 Adds Three Familiar Pokémon

Season 2 of Pokémon Champions may have leaked early, and if the details are accurate, the next Battle Pass looks packed with fan-favorite Pokémon, Mega Evolutions, and a decent spread of cosmetics and in-game resources.

According to a leak circulating online, the full Season 2 Battle Pass content has surfaced ahead of any official announcement. While Season 1’s competitive meta on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 is still settling and certain picks are already becoming common in matches, this leak suggests Season 2 is ready to shake things up with three headline additions: Skarmory, Kangaskhan, and Gengar, each paired with their respective Mega Evolution unlocks via Mega Stones.

The leaked Battle Pass is said to include 50 total levels. If the level placements are correct, Skarmory arrives very early at level 2, Kangaskhan shows up at level 10, and Gengar becomes available at level 25. Their Mega Stones reportedly appear a few levels after each Pokémon unlock, encouraging players to keep progressing if they want to access the Mega Evolution forms.

One of the biggest unanswered questions is how the rewards will be split between the free track and the paid Premium Pass. The leak doesn’t specify which items are free versus premium. However, if the developers follow the same approach used in Season 1, the most likely scenario is that Gengar would be the free Pokémon, while Skarmory and Kangaskhan could be restricted to the Premium Pass tier. The Premium Pass price is expected to remain $9.99, though that has not been confirmed for Season 2.

Beyond the Pokémon themselves, the leaked reward list also mentions practical progression items such as training tickets and quick coupons, along with other currencies used in-game. For players who care about customization, Season 2 may also introduce several new fashion items, including a short tousled hairstyle, mid-top sneakers, skinny jeans, a blouson jacket, and a striped trilby hat—suggesting the season is aiming to deliver both competitive value and cosmetic flair.

Interestingly, the leak claims that after level 30, the remaining tiers (levels 31 through 50) may focus almost entirely on Victory Points, with 500 Victory Points per level. If true, that would make the back half of the pass more about steady resource farming rather than major unlocks, which could influence how players prioritize grinding or purchasing the Premium Pass.

For now, it’s important to treat everything as unconfirmed. Until The Pokémon Works officially reveals Season 2 of Pokémon Champions, the Battle Pass contents, which Pokémon are free, and the final reward structure could still change before launch.
