Kingdom Come: Deliverance Actor Luke Dale Is Opening a Medieval Tavern in Prague
Luke Dale, best known to Kingdom Come: Deliverance fans as the voice and face of the arrogant yet ultimately beloved nobleman Hans Capon, is bringing a slice of medieval Bohemia into the real world. In a fitting twist, the actor who portrayed one of the game’s most memorable hard-drinking aristocrats is opening his own tavern in Prague.
Dale has purchased an old basement venue in Prague’s Vinohrady district, where he plans to launch a medieval-inspired bar called Nobleman. The concept is designed as a warm, atmospheric retreat from modern life, with candlelight, character, and a strong sense of old-world charm.
While the idea may sound like a playful extension of his Kingdom Come: Deliverance role, Dale says the dream goes back much further than Hans Capon. In a video shared with his audience, he explained that he has wanted to run a physical hospitality business for as long as he can remember. After years spent acting, filmmaking, and streaming, he found himself drawn to something more tangible.
For Dale, Nobleman is not simply a business opportunity. It is a personal project built around community, atmosphere, and the desire to create a place where people can gather. He described wanting something that felt real, something made of “bricks and mortar,” where he could be present and help build a welcoming environment.
His connection to the Czech Republic also plays a major role in the project. Dale has lived and worked in the country for years, and he has often expressed appreciation for the culture, people, food, and experiences that have shaped his life there. That influence will carry over into the tavern’s menu, which is expected to feature a mix of British comfort food, traditional Czech dishes, beer, and even a classic Sunday roast.
Despite his enthusiasm, Dale has admitted that opening a tavern without professional experience is intimidating. He called the project “very terrifying,” but he appears fully committed to making it work. Rather than simply attaching his name to the venue, he has been actively involved in the hands-on process of transforming the space.
The irony will not be lost on Kingdom Come: Deliverance fans. Hans Capon begins the series as a spoiled and pompous young nobleman, known for drinking, boasting, and causing trouble. Over time, he grows into a more mature and meaningful character. Now, the actor behind him is stepping into a real-life version of that world, not as a reckless aristocrat, but as a hardworking owner building a tavern from the ground up.
Nobleman is currently expected to open in Prague on October 1, 2026. For fans of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, medieval history, Czech culture, or atmospheric pubs, Luke Dale’s new tavern could become one of the city’s most interesting gaming-related destinations.
