HP has launched the Z2 Mini G1a for sale, a powerful mini PC initially unveiled at CES 2025. It was previously available in the EU and UK, and a specific configuration is now on sale in the US. This configuration features the Ryzen AI Max Pro 380 with Radeon 8040S integrated graphics, paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 8533 MT/s and a 512 GB PCIe 4 storage, priced at $1,999.
Though other configurations are out of stock on the HP US site, they can be pre-ordered from select retailers. The Ryzen AI Max Pro 385 configuration starts at $2,184.46, while the Pro 390 starts at $2,351.72. There’s also a high-end Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 395 version available starting at $2,887.95. These options offer various RAM and storage combinations, accommodating up to 128 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage.
The AMD Strix Halo mini PC boasts impressive connectivity options, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three 10 Gbps USB Type-A ports, a full-function USB Type-C, two Mini DisplayPort 2.1, a 10GbE LAN, and more. It also supports WiFi 7, features a compact, rackable design, and includes a 300 W built-in power supply.
