Introducing the Nitro Intel Arc B-Series GPUs: FrostBlade Cooling Meets AI Playground Innovation

Acer has made an exciting announcement with its new Nitro-series graphics cards, which are set to spark the interest of both creators and gamers alike. These cutting-edge cards, based on the Arc B570 to B580 line, come packed with up to 12GB of GDDR6 RAM and can achieve impressive speeds of up to 2,740MHz. For those into content creation, these cards integrate seamlessly with Intel’s AI Playground app, enhancing both the generation and editing of content.

Acer’s latest video cards promise to handle ray-tracing efficiently, optimize frame rates, and minimize latency thanks to the integration of DirectX 12 Ultimate, Intel Xe Frame Generation technology, and Xe Low Latency technology. The Nitro Intel Arc B570 OC sports 10GB of memory with clock speeds of 2,690MHz, while the B580 OC boasts 12GB and speeds of 2,740MHz, each featuring up to 20 Xe2 cores.

For gaming enthusiasts and content creators aiming for high resolution, these cards support up to 8K but suggest 1440p for the most optimal frames per second. The B580 OC shines with a bandwidth of up to 456Gb/s, while the B570 OC delivers up to 380Gb/s. Both are designed to handle a multi-monitor setup, with three monitors connectable via DisplayPort 2.1 and one through HDMI 2.1.

In terms of design, these graphics cards feature a robust and compact construction with durable aluminum backplates. They are equipped with dual FrostBlade fans, which have “textured” blades designed to enhance airflow while reducing noise by up to 8% compared to conventional plastic blades.

In addition to gaming capabilities, the Nitro Intel Arc B-Series Graphics Cards provide access to a “creator toolkit,” which simplifies the editing and uploading of content. This is complemented by the AI Playground app, which harnesses the power of the Xe cores’ dedicated XMX engines for greater creative potential.

The pricing and availability details for these innovative cards have not yet been disclosed, though market variations are expected. All in all, the Nitro series brings a promising blend of performance and technological advancements for a wide range of users.
