Kärcher is set to revolutionize lawn care with the upcoming launch of its RCX 6 robot lawn mower, scheduled to hit the European market in March 2025. This cutting-edge device boasts an array of advanced navigation technologies, eliminating the need for traditional boundary wires. Instead, it deploys a sophisticated mix of RTK, GPS, vSLAM, and a dedicated camera, allowing it to smoothly meander through your lawn while adeptly avoiding obstacles.
Designed for lawns up to 3,000 square meters (approximately 32,300 square feet), the Kärcher RCX 6 offers an impressive operational time of up to 50 minutes per charge. Once the battery runs low, the mower automatically returns to its docking station, where its robust 5,000mAh battery reaches full capacity in just one hour. The RCX 6 features a tri-wheel design and provides an all-wheel drive functionality, enabling it to tackle gradients as steep as 70%.
For user convenience, the RCX 6 can be controlled remotely through the dedicated Kärcher app or via voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Alternatively, users can manage settings directly from the built-in LCD interface. The mower also offers customization in cutting preferences, with a cutting width of 35 cm (approximately 13.8 inches) and adjustable cutting heights ranging from 20 to 100 mm (approximately 0.8 to 3.9 inches).
Moreover, the Kärcher RCX 6 is equipped with a rain sensor, pausing operations during unfavorable weather conditions, and provides real-time location tracking via the app. Priced at €3,299, this state-of-the-art lawn mower will soon be available across the EU, with potential plans to expand to other markets. Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative addition to home automation.
