The ASRock DeskMini series is expanding with two exciting new additions: the DeskMini B860 and DeskMini X600/USB4. These mini PCs are designed to deliver impressive performance using the latest AMD and Intel processors, all while maintaining a compact and energy-efficient design.
ASRock is known for innovation in motherboards, graphics cards, mini PCs, and more. Their latest DeskMini models are crafted to balance power, efficiency, and flexibility in a sleek form factor, making them perfect for business, education, digital signage, and home entertainment.
The DeskMini B860 features a custom B860 chipset motherboard equipped with an LGA 1851 socket, supporting the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors. These CPUs, rated up to 65W, provide robust performance with efficient cooling. Meanwhile, the DeskMini X600/USB4 is based on the AM5 platform and supports AMD’s Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 processors on a custom X600 chipset motherboard.
Both models boast a compact design, housed in a small 1.92L chassis with dimensions of 155 x 155 x 80 mm. They accommodate up to 47mm of cooler clearance and support up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory through SODIMM and CSO-DIMM configurations. Storage options are flexible with the capability to add up to two SATA SSDs and two M.2 2280 SSDs, utilizing PCIe Gen 5.0 and Gen 4.0 interfaces for speedy data transfers.
For connectivity, the DeskMini B860 includes two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs for high resolutions and refresh rates, alongside an HDMI 2.1 port supporting 4K at 120Hz and a Thunderbolt 4 port for high-bandwidth peripherals. The DeskMini X600/USB4 offers similar connectivity but features one DisplayPort 1.4 output. Both systems come with numerous USB Type A and Type C ports, 2.5G LAN, and an optional M.2 key E socket for adding a WiFi module.
