Intel has introduced a new set of graphics drivers that bring impressive performance enhancements to many popular games, along with support for new titles. These 32.0.101.6127 WHQL and 32.0.101.6044 Non-WHQL drivers are built for the integrated GPUs in the Lunar Lake series, as well as the discrete Arc Alchemist GPUs. Users can expect their gaming experience to elevate significantly, with Lunar Lake iGPUs seeing up to a 24% boost and Arc Alchemist GPUs enjoying up to a 20% performance increase.
The update includes specific tweaks for popular games to enhance gameplay further: for “No More Room in Hell 2,” support has been added for both Arc Alchemist GPUs and Lunar Lake architectures. “Core Keeper” benefits from an 11% boost in frame rates at 1080p and up to 13% at 1440p on Arc A-series GPUs. Meanwhile, “Metaphor: ReFantazio” fans will experience up to 20% more frames at 1440p on the same hardware. For players of “Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered,” Lunar Lake iGPUs deliver up to an 8% increase in frame rates at 1080p, while “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” enthusiasts will notice a significant up to 24% improvement at 1080p on Lunar Lake iGPUs.
Beyond performance boosts, Intel has resolved several issues that have been plaguing users. These fixes include problems with the Endurance Gaming feature, visual corruption in the Chaos Enscape Benchmark 4.1, and underperformance in 3DMark Wildlife. Moreover, visual glitches in “Final Fantasy XVI” have been addressed.
Despite these enhancements, some issues remain and are currently under investigation. Users might encounter flickering in “Doom Eternal” (Vulkan), crashes in Blender when running specific benchmarks, visual artifacts in Adobe Premiere Pro when encoding 8K in AV1 format, and several hiccups in “Star Wars Outlaws.”
These new drivers are available for download and are compatible with Intel CPUs from the 11th Generation up to the latest Lunar Lake processors. However, Intel suggests users prioritize the drivers provided by their device manufacturers, as these are custom-tailored for specific hardware, promising better reliability and compatibility.
It’s also worth noting that the new driver package size has increased to 1.4GB, which combines drivers for both Arc GPUs and Lunar Lake iGPUs. This consolidation aims to streamline updates but is expected to be a temporary change. For now, users will need to download the comprehensive package regardless of their specific GPU, ensuring all potential integrations are covered.
