HP has introduced the new OmniBook 7 14, a compact 14-inch laptop aimed at users who want modern performance, premium display options, and a portable design. The device stands out with Intel’s latest Core Ultra processor choices, including Core Ultra X configurations that unlock Intel Arc B390 graphics with 12 Xe3 GPU cores.
Across the lineup, HP is keeping the hardware fairly consistent in several key areas. Every configuration includes the same 68 Wh battery, which should help deliver reliable battery life regardless of processor choice. Most models also come with 32 GB of RAM, although the Core Ultra 5 325 version is the exception.
The standard display option is a 14-inch IPS panel with a 1200p resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits peak brightness, and 62.5% sRGB color coverage. This should be suitable for everyday productivity, web browsing, streaming, and general office work.
For users who want a sharper screen, HP offers an upgraded IPS display with a 2,240 x 1,400 resolution for an additional $80. However, this panel keeps the same 60 Hz refresh rate and 300-nit brightness level as the base display.
OLED options are also available for buyers who prefer deeper contrast and richer colors. The entry-level OLED panel features a 1200p resolution, 300 nits peak brightness, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The more premium OLED upgrade is much more impressive, offering an 1800p resolution, a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, full 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and 500 nits of peak brightness. In HDR mode, brightness can rise as high as 1,100 nits, making it the most attractive choice for media consumption, creative work, and users who want the best visual experience.
Storage upgrades are available as well. Moving to a 1 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD adds $120 to the price. With the top configuration, including the Core Ultra X9 388H processor, 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB SSD, and the 1800p OLED display, the HP OmniBook 7 14 reaches $2,409.
HP is offering the new OmniBook 7 14 in three color options: Glacier Silver, Meteor Silver, and Powder Pink. Glacier Silver is the standard finish, while Meteor Silver and Powder Pink each add $20 to the final cost.
Pre-orders for the HP OmniBook 7 14 are expected to begin shipping in July 2026. With its compact 14-inch design, Intel Core Ultra processor options, available Arc B390 graphics, and premium OLED display upgrades, the OmniBook 7 14 is shaping up to be an appealing choice for buyers looking for a stylish and capable Windows laptop.
