Honor Watch Fit 6 Launches With GPS, NFC Payments, and 120+ Sports Modes
Honor has introduced the Watch Fit 6, a new smartwatch that brings a feature-packed wearable experience with a familiar rugged design. The device is launching first in China, with wider availability and pricing details still to be confirmed.
The Honor Watch Fit 6 comes with a touchscreen display and two physical controls: a digital crown and an additional side button. This combination should make navigation easier during workouts, outdoor activities, and everyday use, especially when swiping on the screen is less convenient.
Fitness tracking is one of the main highlights of the Watch Fit 6. Honor says the smartwatch supports more than 120 sports modes, covering traditional activities like running, cycling, and soccer, along with newer categories such as e-sports. This broad selection makes it suitable for users who want a versatile smartwatch for both exercise and lifestyle tracking.
Health monitoring features are also included. The Watch Fit 6 supports sleep tracking and all-day heart rate variability monitoring, allowing users to keep an eye on recovery, stress, and overall wellness trends throughout the day. These tools could make the device appealing to users looking for an affordable smartwatch with detailed health insights.
The smartwatch also includes a built-in GPS module, which means users can track outdoor workouts without depending entirely on a smartphone. NFC support is available as well, enabling contactless payments where supported. Honor has also equipped the Watch Fit 6 with speakers and microphones, suggesting support for calls and voice-related functions.
Battery life remains one of the biggest unanswered questions. Honor is currently promoting the Watch Fit 6 as offering “long” battery life, but the company has not shared an exact figure yet. Based on the previous Watch Fit 4 Pro, users may expect around ten days of battery life or more, depending on usage.
For now, the Honor Watch Fit 6 is confirmed for China, but the company has not announced its official price or international launch plans. More details are expected to arrive once Honor fully reveals the smartwatch’s specifications and sales schedule.
