Honor Magic V6 launches globally with ultra-slim foldable design, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and 6,600 mAh battery
Honor has officially started the global rollout of its newest book-style foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V6. After previewing the device earlier this year at MWC 2026, the company has now launched the Magic V6 in Malaysia and Singapore, with more regions expected to follow soon.
The Honor Magic V6 is designed to stand out in the premium foldable smartphone market with an incredibly slim body, powerful hardware, and a large battery packed into a lightweight frame. When unfolded, the device measures just 4 mm thick, making it one of the thinnest foldable phones in its category. When folded, it measures 8.75 mm and weighs around 219 grams.
In Malaysia, the Honor Magic V6 starts at MYR 7,699, which is approximately $1,917. The phone is currently available for pre-order, and buyers who reserve the device between June 4 and June 11, 2026, can receive limited-time free gifts worth up to MYR 3,797, or around $945. Color options include gold, white, black, and red.
Honor is expected to bring the Magic V6 to Europe, the Middle East, and other global markets in the coming weeks, expanding its availability beyond Southeast Asia.
One of the biggest highlights of the Honor Magic V6 is its display setup. The main foldable screen is a 7.95-inch AMOLED panel with a 2172 x 2352 pixel resolution, a 1 Hz to 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. On the outside, the phone features a 6.52-inch cover display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits.
The Magic V6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination should deliver flagship-level performance for multitasking, gaming, productivity, and AI-driven features.
Battery life is another major upgrade. Despite its ultra-thin design, the Honor Magic V6 comes with a 6,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is 13.4% larger than the battery found in its predecessor, the Magic V5. The device supports 80 W wired charging and 66 W wireless charging, giving users fast and flexible charging options.
For cameras, the Honor Magic V6 offers a triple rear camera system. It includes a 50 MP main camera, a 64 MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. This setup is aimed at users who want a foldable phone that can handle everyday shots, zoom photography, landscapes, and high-quality mobile imaging.
On the software side, the Magic V6 runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Compared with the previous Magic V5, the new Honor Magic V6 brings a thinner body, a more powerful processor, a larger battery, upgraded display brightness, and refined hardware across the board. With its premium foldable design and flagship specifications, the Honor Magic V6 is positioned as one of the most ambitious foldable smartphones of 2026.
