Biwin Expands Its Storage and DDR5 Lineup With Mini SSDs, PCIe 5.0 Drives, and ROG-Certified Memory
Biwin is making a bigger push into the PC gaming and portable device market with a fresh lineup of SSDs and DDR5 memory products. From compact storage designed for gaming handhelds to high-speed PCIe 5.0 drives for enthusiast desktops, the company is clearly targeting a wide range of users who want faster performance, better efficiency, and reliable capacity options.
One of the key highlights is Biwin’s latest Mini SSD lineup, designed for compact systems and modern gaming handhelds. As portable gaming devices continue to grow in popularity, demand for smaller, faster, and more efficient storage is increasing. Biwin’s new CL100 Mini SSD aims to meet that demand with a cost-focused PCIe 4.0 design that supports the NVMe 1.4 standard.
The Biwin CL100 will be available in 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities, giving users several upgrade options depending on their storage needs. For handheld gamers, the higher-capacity models should be especially useful, as modern games can quickly consume hundreds of gigabytes. Performance is also solid for a compact drive, with speeds rated up to 3,700 MB/s read and 3,400 MB/s write. Biwin is backing the CL100 with a 3-year warranty, making it an appealing option for users who want a balance of value and speed.
Alongside the CL100, Biwin is also introducing the BL130 Mini SSD. This model is designed with efficiency in mind, operating at under 3.5W while offering the same capacity options and speed ratings as the CL100. The BL130 also delivers strong input/output performance, with up to 850K read IOPS and 800K write IOPS. Biwin demonstrated the drive inside a OneXPlayer handheld, showing how its Mini SSD technology can be used in real portable gaming hardware.
For desktop PC users and performance-focused builders, Biwin is preparing the M560, a PCIe 5.0 SSD in the standard M.2 2280 form factor. This drive is built for systems that can take advantage of next-generation storage speeds, making it a strong match for high-end gaming PCs, creator workstations, and demanding productivity setups.
The Biwin M560 will come in 1 TB and 2 TB capacities, with sequential speeds rated up to 11 GB/s read and 10 GB/s write. Those numbers place it firmly in the high-performance PCIe 5.0 SSD category. Biwin is using an SMI controller built on a 6nm process, which is intended to help reduce temperatures and power consumption. The drive also uses a DRAM-less design, which may help make it more efficient while still delivering impressive speed. Biwin is supporting the M560 with a 5-year warranty.
Biwin is not only focusing on SSDs. The company is also expanding its DDR5 memory offerings with the RU200 series, which follows JEDEC specifications and will be available in both UDIMM and SODIMM formats. The UDIMM models are designed for desktop PCs, while the SODIMM versions are aimed at laptops, mini PCs, and other compact systems.
The RU200 DDR5 memory lineup starts at 8 GB and scales up to 32 GB per module. Speeds include 4800 MT/s and 5600 MT/s, with CL40 and CL46 timings at 1.1V. These specifications make the RU200 series a practical choice for mainstream systems that need dependable DDR5 memory without requiring extreme tuning.
Biwin is also stepping further into gaming memory with the DW100 DDR5-RGB, its first ROG-Certified DDR5 memory kit under the main Biwin brand. The kit includes two 16 GB modules for a total of 32 GB and reaches speeds of up to 6000 MT/s. It supports both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles, making it easier for users to enable higher memory speeds on compatible platforms.
When paired with ROG motherboards, the Biwin DW100 DDR5-RGB can offer an additional performance boost, giving gamers and PC enthusiasts another reason to consider the kit for a new build or upgrade. The memory modules feature a large white heatspreader and RGB lighting, giving them a clean, premium look that should fit well in modern gaming PCs, especially white-themed builds.
With its updated Mini SSDs, PCIe 5.0 M.2 storage, JEDEC DDR5 modules, and ROG-Certified RGB memory, Biwin is building a broader portfolio for gamers, PC builders, laptop users, and handheld gaming fans. Pricing and availability details are expected later, but the lineup already shows that Biwin is positioning itself as a stronger player in both storage and memory markets.
