Honor has officially introduced the Honor 600 series at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, expanding its lineup with two new models: the Honor 600 and the Honor 600 Pro. Among them, the Honor 600 Pro is positioned as the standout “ultra-premium” option, aimed squarely at shoppers comparing flagship phones from the biggest Android brands.
At first glance, the Honor 600 Pro leans into a clean, modern aesthetic that will feel familiar to anyone who likes the current top-tier smartphone design language. It features a 6.75-inch flat AMOLED display with a sharp 2728 x 1264 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an eye-catching peak brightness rated at up to 8,000 nits—built for bright outdoor viewing and high-contrast content.
The camera hardware is clearly one of the main selling points. On the back, the Honor 600 Pro packs a triple-camera system led by a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization for steadier shots. It’s joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom, plus a 12MP ultrawide camera that also doubles as a macro lens for close-up photography. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 50MP front camera, which should appeal to creators and anyone who prioritizes sharp front-facing photos.
Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, putting it firmly in flagship territory for performance and capacity. Software-wise, it ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and Honor is promising long-term support: 6 years of major Android OS upgrades (up to Android 22) and 6 years of security updates running through 2032. For buyers thinking long-term, that kind of update commitment can be a big deciding factor.
Battery specs vary depending on the region. The Asian version of the Honor 600 Pro includes a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, with 80W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 27W wired reverse charging for powering up accessories or another phone. Meanwhile, the EU version comes with a 6,400mAh battery, which is still sizeable but slightly smaller than the Asian variant.
Honor is also leaning heavily into AI features this generation, including AI image-to-video 2.0 on the 600 Pro. The tool lets you combine up to three images and use natural language prompts to generate short video clips lasting around 3 to 8 seconds—an attention-grabbing feature for social media posts, quick storytelling, and creative experiments without needing editing skills.
Other notable features round out the premium package, including a matte metal frame, SGS certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an AI color engine, a dedicated customizable AI button, and dual stereo speakers. Durability also looks like a focus, with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.
In Malaysia, the Honor 600 Pro is available in golden white, orange, and black. Pricing starts at RM 3,099 (about $784) for the 12GB + 256GB version, while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at RM 3,299 (about $834). Pre-orders are open in Malaysia until 29 April 2026 through Honor’s official channels and authorized retailers, with nationwide availability starting 30 April 2026.
To sweeten the launch, Honor is offering a limited-time pre-order bundle valued at up to RM 1,935. The offer includes a RM 200 instant rebate, a Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay, 365-day front and back crack replacement, a 1-year extended warranty, and a 1-year liquid damage protection warranty—an aggressive early-buyer deal for anyone considering a new flagship upgrade this spring.
