Honor Unveils Compact 240Hz OLED Gaming Tablet to Take On Lenovo’s Legion Tab Gen 5

Honor Win Tablet arrives with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 240Hz OLED screen, and huge battery

Honor is preparing to shake up the compact gaming tablet market with its new Honor Win Tablet, a premium gaming-focused device that combines flagship performance, a high-refresh OLED display, and a surprisingly large battery in a smaller body.

The company has now confirmed several key specifications through official teasers, giving gamers and tech fans a clearer look at what to expect. At the heart of the Honor Win Tablet is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a high-end processor designed to deliver strong gaming performance, fast app loading, and smooth multitasking.

This powerful chip puts the Honor Win Tablet in direct competition with compact gaming tablets such as the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 and RedMagic Astra 2. However, Honor may have an advantage in thermal performance, as the tablet is equipped with an active cooling system. That should help the device maintain higher performance during long gaming sessions by keeping temperatures under control.

One of the biggest highlights is the display. The Honor Win Tablet features an 8.4-inch OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, making it an appealing option for players who want ultra-smooth visuals in fast-paced games. Earlier details also pointed to a 2304 x 1440 resolution, which should provide sharp image quality for gaming, streaming, and everyday use.

Despite its compact size, Honor has managed to fit a massive 10,000mAh battery inside the Win Tablet. That is especially impressive for an 8.4-inch device and gives it a notable battery advantage over some rival gaming tablets. For comparison, the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 features an 8.8-inch display and a 9,000mAh battery, while the RedMagic Astra 2 comes with a 9.06-inch screen and an 8,300mAh battery.

The large battery, paired with a smaller OLED display, could make the Honor Win Tablet a strong choice for gamers who want longer playtime without carrying a full-sized tablet. It may also appeal to users who want a portable entertainment device for movies, cloud gaming, emulation, and productivity on the go.

Honor has not revealed every configuration yet, but an early hands-on unit shown during the announcement event indicated that at least one model will come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. That combination should be more than enough for demanding games, large media libraries, and heavy multitasking.

The Honor Win Tablet is scheduled to launch on October 21, 2026. With its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, active cooling, 240Hz OLED display, compact 8.4-inch form factor, and 10,000mAh battery, it is shaping up to be one of the most interesting gaming tablets of the year.
