Honor Unveils Budget-Friendly Fast-Charging Power Banks With Built-In Cables

Honor Life Power Banks Launch With Built-In USB-C Cable, Digital Display, and Budget Pricing

Honor has introduced two new Life series power banks in China, giving users a choice between 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacities. Designed for everyday charging, travel, and backup power, both models come with a built-in braided USB-C cable, 22.5W bidirectional fast charging, and a compact digital display that shows the remaining battery level.

The new Honor Life power banks stand out with a bold red finish and a practical design aimed at users who do not want to carry extra cables. The integrated USB-C cable can be used both to charge compatible devices and to recharge the power bank itself. Honor has also included separate USB-A and USB-C ports, allowing users to connect more than one device when needed.

According to Honor, the power banks can provide a useful top-up in a short amount of time. In 30 minutes, the company says they can charge the Honor Magic8 and Xiaomi 17 Pro to around 20%, the iPhone 17 Pro to about 28%, and the Huawei Pura 80 to roughly 25%. Actual charging performance will depend on the phone model, battery size, and supported charging protocol.

Both models support up to 22.5W output, which is suitable for regular smartphone charging but not as fast as some higher-output power banks on the market. For users who prioritize portability, affordability, and built-in cable convenience over extreme charging speeds, the Honor Life series could be an appealing option.

Honor has also focused on safety and usability. The power banks include an NTC temperature-control chip to help manage heat during charging. The company also advertises multiple safety protections, and both models are listed as 3C-certified. Honor says they are suitable for air travel under applicable Chinese regulations, making them useful for commuting, business trips, and vacations.

The 10,000mAh Honor Life power bank is the more portable option. It measures 16.68mm thick and weighs 200g, making it slim enough to fit easily into a pocket or small bag. The 20,000mAh version is larger, measuring 24.9mm thick and weighing 313g, but it offers twice the capacity for users who need longer-lasting backup power.

Pricing is one of the biggest highlights. The Honor Life 10,000mAh power bank is priced at 148 yuan, which is about $22. The 20,000mAh model costs 198 yuan, or around $30. Both models are currently available in China through Honor’s official online store.

Honor has not yet confirmed whether the Life power banks will launch in global markets. If they do, the combination of affordable pricing, built-in USB-C cable, digital battery display, and travel-friendly design could make them strong options for users looking for a simple and reliable portable charger.
