Honor Teases Compact Gaming Tablet for New Win Series

Honor Confirms a Compact Gaming Tablet for Its Win Lineup

Honor is preparing to expand its gaming-focused Win series with a new compact tablet designed for players who want strong performance in a smaller, more portable device. While the company has not yet shared the official name, launch date, or complete specifications, early details suggest this could be one of Honor’s most interesting gaming products yet.

The Win lineup first arrived with the Honor Win and Win RT gaming phones in December 2025, followed by the Win H9 gaming laptop. Now, Honor is moving into the tablet space, signaling that it wants to build a broader ecosystem for mobile gamers.

Lin Lin, head of Honor China’s Smart Life business, confirmed that a compact Win tablet is currently in development. According to him, the company is paying close attention to three key areas: performance, weight, and battery life. These are all crucial for a gaming tablet, especially one built with a smaller form factor that needs to stay comfortable during long play sessions.

Lin Lin also revealed that he has been testing a prototype with popular titles such as Honor of Kings and Delta Force. This suggests Honor is actively tuning the device for demanding games and looking for ways to improve real-world gaming performance before release.

Although Honor has not announced the tablet’s hardware, previous leaks point to an approximately 8-inch OLED display with slim bezels. If accurate, that would make the device a direct fit for gamers who prefer a screen larger than a smartphone but smaller and lighter than a traditional tablet.

The upcoming Honor Win tablet is also rumored to feature a high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite-series chipset. That would give it the kind of processing power needed for high frame rates, faster loading, and smoother gameplay in graphics-heavy titles. Combined with an OLED panel, the tablet could deliver vivid colors, deep contrast, and a premium visual experience for gaming and media.

Honor may also be working on another compact OLED tablet, but that model is expected to belong to the Magic series rather than the Win lineup. The Magic series is typically associated with flagship-level devices, including premium tablets such as the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro. However, Honor has not confirmed any official details about this rumored Magic-branded compact tablet.

For now, the confirmed highlight is the compact Win gaming tablet. With a portable design, gaming-first focus, possible OLED display, and flagship-grade chipset, Honor appears to be targeting users who want console-like performance in a handheld-friendly tablet format.

If Honor gets the balance right between power, battery life, thermals, and weight, its upcoming Win tablet could become a strong option for mobile gamers looking for a compact Android gaming tablet in 2026.
