Hisense is bringing its art-inspired TV lineup back to the US with the new 2026 S7 CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV, also referred to as the S7SG. This latest version follows the earlier S7N model introduced in 2024, and it’s aimed at shoppers who like the idea of a television that can double as wall art when it’s not playing shows.
One of the biggest updates for 2026 is expanded sizing. The S7 CanvasTV is offered in 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch options, giving buyers more flexibility whether they’re outfitting a smaller room or building a larger living room setup.
In terms of core specs, the 2026 Hisense CanvasTV sticks closely to what made the previous model appealing. It’s a 4K LCD TV with a native 144Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smooth motion whether you’re watching sports, fast-action movies, or gaming. Picture support includes Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, helping the TV adapt to different content types and lighting conditions for more detailed highlights and richer contrast.
The CanvasTV identity is still front and center. Hisense includes a Hi-Matte Display to cut down on glare, along with multiple frame options so the screen looks more like a framed print than a typical TV. When you’re not watching content, you can switch to an art display mode with access to more than 1,000 artworks to choose from. Combined with an ultra-slim design intended to sit close to the wall, the goal is a cleaner, gallery-style look that blends into your space.
For smart features, Hisense uses Google TV, which organizes streaming services and recommendations in one place and supports a wide range of popular apps. Voice control is also part of the package, with Amazon Alexa commands available for hands-free control.
Gamers get a solid list of modern features, including VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility, all aimed at reducing lag and screen tearing for smoother gameplay.
Audio is handled by an integrated 2.0.2 channel sound system, and connectivity includes four HDMI ports (two of them HDMI 2.1), plus both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 for media playback and accessories.
Hisense hasn’t yet confirmed the exact US release date or pricing for the 2026 S7 CanvasTV. For a rough reference point, the earlier 65-inch S7 CanvasTV originally launched at $1,299.99, which gives a general idea of where the new model could land depending on size and retail positioning.
