Hisense Expands Availability of Its C3 4K Triple-Laser Projector to More Countries

Hisense has started expanding its latest compact home cinema projector in Europe, with the Hisense C3 Smart Mini Projector 4K now officially available in Germany. The model originally launched in China in 2025 under the name Vidda C3, and it follows the brand’s earlier C2 projector from 2024, bringing upgraded picture features and gaming-focused performance to a more portable, living-room-friendly design.

At its core, the Hisense C3 is a 4K UHD projector with a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and the ability to create a massive image up to 300 inches. It uses a tricolor (triple) laser light source that’s rated for up to 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, aiming to deliver vibrant color and strong visibility in typical home viewing conditions. Hisense also lists a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, and support for popular premium formats including IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, which should appeal to movie fans looking for a more cinematic HDR experience.

Gaming is clearly part of the pitch as well. The C3 includes a high refresh rate option that can reach 240Hz in DLP Turbo Mode, along with input lag measuring under 20 ms, making it a compelling choice for fast-paced competitive games when paired with compatible sources.

Ease of setup is another major focus. The built-in gimbal stand allows you to tilt the projection up to 135 degrees vertically, which can make it easier to place the projector on a table, shelf, or other surfaces without complicated mounting. There’s also a 1.0–1.3:1 optical zoom for more flexible placement, plus automatic tools designed to speed up image alignment, including auto focus, obstacle avoidance, and keystone correction.

For streaming and everyday use, the Hisense C3 runs the Vidaa U9 operating system, providing access to a variety of streaming apps and platforms. It also supports voice commands and Apple AirPlay 2, making it easier to cast content from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac without extra hardware.

Audio is handled by two integrated 10W speakers with DTS Virtual:X compatibility, offering an all-in-one option for casual viewing, while still allowing users to connect external sound systems. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC for higher-quality audio passthrough, a second HDMI 2.1 port, and USB 3.0 for additional media playback and device support.

Price and availability: in Germany, the Hisense C3 Smart Mini Projector 4K is listed at Amazon for €1,699. Hisense is expected to expand availability to more European countries soon, though an exact timeline for the wider rollout hasn’t been announced yet.
