Hisense is expanding the availability of its C3 4K Triple Laser Projector, bringing the home theater model to more countries including Australia and Canada. Originally launched in China in 2025, the projector later arrived in Europe, and it now continues its global rollout as a successor-style upgrade to the earlier Hisense C2 from 2024.
Built for big-screen home cinema, the Hisense C3 delivers a native 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and can project images up to a massive 300 inches. It uses a triple laser light source designed to reach up to 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, along with 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut for richer, more vibrant color performance. Hisense also includes features geared toward premium movie viewing, such as a 2,000:1 native contrast ratio, IMAX Enhanced support, and Dolby Vision.
To help simplify setup in different rooms, the C3 can be placed on a media console or mounted on the ceiling. Its integrated gimbal stand allows up to 360 degrees of horizontal adjustment and up to 135 degrees of vertical tilt, making it easier to dial in the angle without complicated mounting changes. There’s also a 1.0–1.3:1 optical zoom, plus automatic tools that aim to keep the picture looking clean and properly aligned, including auto keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and autofocus.
On the smart side, the projector runs Hisense’s Vidaa OS, giving users access to a range of streaming apps directly from the projector interface. Gamers also get a dedicated Game Mode, and for audio, Hisense builds in a 2.0-channel JBL speaker system—useful for quick setups where you don’t want to rely on external speakers right away.
Pricing and availability will vary by market. In Australia, the Hisense C3 4K Triple Laser Projector is priced at A$3,499 and is already showing up at major retailers. In Canada, it retails for CA$2,499.99 and is available through local stores. As for the United States, Hisense hasn’t confirmed an official launch timeline for the C3 yet, and the company is still selling the previous-generation C2 in that market.
