GTA Online’s Summer 2026 Update Unleashes a Huge New Los Santos Heist

GTA Online’s Kortz Center Heist Arrives July 14 With Mansions, Art Forgery, Free Upgrades, and GTA+ Bonuses

Rockstar Games is preparing one of GTA Online’s biggest updates of the year with The Kortz Center Heist, a new art gallery robbery launching on July 14, 2026. The update will introduce a multi-stage criminal operation centered on one of Los Santos’ most recognizable locations, while also bringing free platform upgrades, GTA+ perks, and limited-time in-game bonuses.

The Kortz Center has been part of the Los Santos skyline since GTA Online first launched in 2013. Located in Pacific Bluffs, the high-end gallery is known for its striking architecture and valuable international art collection. Now, for the first time, players will be able to turn that luxury landmark into the target of a major heist.

To begin The Kortz Center Heist, players will need to purchase a Mansion property and add the new Art Studio extension. This studio will do more than simply look stylish. It will act as the operational hub for the heist and also open the door to art counterfeiting activities, giving players another way to build their criminal empire while preparing for the main score.

Once the setup is complete, players can scout the Kortz Center, plan their approach, and decide how they want to pull off the job. The heist will support both solo play and co-op crews of up to four players, making it flexible for lone operators and organized teams alike.

Rockstar describes the update as a multi-stage operation with a focus on infiltration, planning, and escape strategy. That structure should feel familiar to longtime GTA Online players who enjoyed major missions like the Diamond Casino Heist and the Cayo Perico Heist. Both remain among the most popular and replayable activities in the game, and The Kortz Center Heist appears designed to follow in that same high-stakes tradition.

Ahead of the update’s release, Rockstar is also launching the Fine Art Collector program. This series of in-game events will give players a chance to earn bonus GTA$ rewards and take advantage of major discounts on selected properties. For players looking to buy a Mansion before the new heist goes live, these events could make the entry cost much easier to manage.

GTA+ members will receive an additional benefit with a $2,000,000 in-game discount on Mansion purchases. Players buying Shark Cards will also be able to claim a limited-time 40% bonus on currency packs, giving them more spending power before the update arrives.

The Kortz Center Heist is not the only major announcement tied to this update. Rockstar has confirmed free upgrades for several older versions of GTA V. Players who own GTA V on PS4 or the digital Xbox One version will be able to upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions at no extra cost. PC players using the Legacy version can also move to GTA V Enhanced for free, gaining visual improvements such as ray-traced ambient occlusion and global illumination.

GTA+ subscribers will also receive access to GTA V’s story mode through the GTA+ Games Library, adding more value for members alongside the new online bonuses.

With Grand Theft Auto VI expected later in 2026, The Kortz Center Heist could become one of the final major content drops for GTA Online before the series enters its next era. If this really is one of the last big updates for the current game, Rockstar appears to be giving players a stylish, high-value sendoff with mansions, counterfeit art, luxury targets, and one more ambitious robbery in Los Santos.
