Govee has officially launched its new Outdoor Pathway Lights 2 Lite, expanding the company’s smart outdoor lighting lineup with a more budget-friendly option that still packs plenty of app-driven features. After appearing on Govee’s website earlier this year, the lights are now rolling out across North America and Europe with a March 2026 release window.
Designed for pathways, driveways, patios, and garden edges, the Outdoor Pathway Lights 2 Lite use RGBW LEDs to produce both colored lighting and standard white illumination. Each light outputs up to 190 lumens, aiming to balance visibility with decorative ambiance. One of the standout touches is the curved projection beam, which creates an S-shaped lighting effect across the ground—an easy way to make walkways look more dynamic without needing complex installation.
Color quality is also a focus here. Govee says its LuminBlend+ technology helps deliver more accurate colors and smoother transitions, which matters when you’re using gradients, animated effects, or shifting scenes across multiple lights.
Control and customization run through the Govee Home app, where users can choose from more than 60 preset scenes. There are also eight music-sync modes that react to audio for parties or seasonal setups. For hands-free operation, the lights support voice control, including Siri. Matter compatibility is included as well, making it easier to integrate the lights into a wide range of smart home platforms and control them alongside other connected devices.
For connectivity, the Outdoor Pathway Lights 2 Lite support 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth. They’re built for outdoor conditions too, with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, helping them handle rain, splashes, and general yard exposure. Each light sits on top of a 15.2-inch (about 386 mm) pole with a black housing, and the set includes ground stakes to keep the lights securely positioned along your path or landscaping.
Pricing is set to be accessible compared with many smart pathway lighting systems. In the United States, the 4‑Pack costs $99.99, while the 8‑Pack is priced at $169.99. In parts of Europe, including markets such as the Netherlands, Spain, and France, a 4‑Pack is listed for €109.99.
With Matter support, app-based scenes, music syncing, and a distinctive S-shaped projection effect, the Govee Outdoor Pathway Lights 2 Lite aim to be a strong option for anyone looking to upgrade outdoor lighting with smart controls—without jumping to premium pricing.
