GMKtec Neo-X1 Gaming PCs Launch Globally With AMD Ryzen 9 Power and Desktop Nvidia RTX Graphics
GMKtec has expanded its Neo-X1 gaming desktop lineup beyond China, bringing two liquid-cooled AMD-powered PCs to the global market. The new series is aimed at gamers, creators, and power users who want high-end performance in a compact desktop-style system with modern connectivity and serious upgrade potential.
The lineup includes two models: the GMKtec Neo-X1 and the more powerful GMKtec Neo-X1 Pro. Both machines are built around AMD MoDT platforms, meaning they use high-performance mobile-class processors in a desktop PC design. This approach helps deliver strong CPU performance while keeping the system more compact and efficient than many traditional gaming towers.
The standard GMKtec Neo-X1 is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX, a powerful Zen 5 processor designed for demanding workloads and high-frame-rate gaming. It comes preconfigured with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD, making it ready for gaming, multitasking, streaming, and content creation right out of the box.
GMKtec says the Neo-X1 can be upgraded with up to 96GB of RAM, giving users plenty of room for heavier workloads such as video editing, 3D rendering, and large creative projects. Storage expansion is also a major highlight, with two PCIe 5.0 slots supporting up to 16TB of total storage capacity.
For graphics, the Neo-X1 uses a desktop-class Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM. That should make it a capable choice for modern PC gaming, AI-assisted creative apps, and GPU-accelerated workflows. To keep performance steady under load, GMKtec has fitted the system with a triple-fan all-in-one liquid cooling solution. According to the company, this cooling setup allows the CPU to reach up to 160W of performance.
The GMKtec Neo-X1 Pro steps things up with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, a gaming-focused processor featuring AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology. This chip is paired with a desktop Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 12GB of VRAM, positioning the Pro model as the stronger option for players who want smoother performance at higher resolutions and more demanding graphics settings.
The Pro version also ships with a more generous memory and storage configuration, offering 64GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD as standard. Like the regular Neo-X1, it supports up to 96GB of RAM and up to 16TB of storage through its dual PCIe 5.0 slots.
Connectivity is another key selling point of the Neo-X1 series. GMKtec highlights a wide selection of ports, along with support for quad 8K display output, making these systems suitable for multi-monitor gaming setups, productivity stations, and creator workflows. The PCs also include WiFi 7 support for faster and more reliable wireless networking.
One notable omission is USB4, which some users may miss if they rely on high-speed external storage, docking stations, or advanced peripheral setups. Even so, the overall port selection and wireless features should still cover most gaming and productivity needs.
The GMKtec Neo-X1 series is now available through the company’s official store. The standard Neo-X1 is priced at $2,099.99, while the higher-end Neo-X1 Pro costs $2,899.99.
