iQoo is expanding its 15-series lineup, and the newest leak gives a clearer picture of what to expect outside China. The company has already confirmed the iQoo 15 Ultra as the more premium option compared to the standard iQoo 15, but that model is launching only in China for now, with no official confirmation of a global release.
That’s where the iQoo 15R comes in. Officially teased by iQoo India and spotted across multiple certifications, the iQoo 15R is increasingly looking like the model aimed at a broader international launch. Now, it has appeared in a Geekbench database listing, revealing several key performance and software details.
According to the listing, the iQoo 15R carries the model number I2508 and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is positioned as a “sub-flagship” processor, sitting below the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which suggests iQoo is targeting a high-performance experience without pushing the price into ultra-premium territory. In benchmark results, the device posted 2,590 points in single-core and 8,423 points in multi-core testing. The same listing also indicates Android 16 out of the box, which could make the iQoo 15R one of the earlier phones to ship with the latest Android version depending on launch timing.
With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 at the center of the device, there’s also growing speculation that the iQoo 15R could be a rebranded version of the iQoo Z11 Turbo, a model that recently launched in China using the same chipset. If that connection is accurate, it offers a strong hint at what the iQoo 15R’s full specs could look like once iQoo officially reveals the phone.
The iQoo Z11 Turbo is built around a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1260 x 2750 resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, a combination designed for fast scrolling, gaming, and fluid animations. On the camera side, it includes a dual rear setup highlighted by a 200MP main sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the front camera comes in at 32MP for selfies and video calls.
One of the biggest standout features is battery capacity. The Z11 Turbo packs a large 7,600mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging, aiming to deliver both long endurance and quick top-ups. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, features that typically appear on higher-end devices.
In China, the iQoo Z11 Turbo launched with a starting price of CNY 2,699 (around $387), but pricing and an official release date for the iQoo 15R in global markets have not been announced yet. With the phone now appearing in benchmark listings and already teased in India, more concrete launch details could surface soon.
