Gigabyte Expands Brix Mini PC Lineup With AMD Ryzen AI Power and Up to 96GB RAM
Gigabyte has quietly expanded its compact Brix mini PC family with two new AMD-powered models designed for users who want strong everyday performance in a small desktop footprint. The latest additions, the GB-BRR7-450 and GB-BRR5-430, bring AMD’s newer Gorgon Point APUs to the mini PC segment, combining efficient processing, modern connectivity, and upgrade-friendly hardware in a space-saving design.
The higher-end Gigabyte Brix GB-BRR7-450 comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 7 450 processor, while the GB-BRR5-430 features the Ryzen AI 5 430. Both chips are designed to deliver a balance of productivity, multitasking, media playback, and AI-assisted workloads, making these mini PCs suitable for home offices, compact workstations, digital signage, and entertainment setups.
For graphics, the Ryzen AI 7 450 model includes Radeon 860M integrated graphics, while the Ryzen AI 5 430 version uses Radeon 840M graphics. These integrated GPUs should be capable enough for general visual tasks, 4K media playback, light creative work, and casual gaming. However, users looking for serious gaming performance or heavy GPU-based workloads may want to pair the system with an external graphics solution.
One of the most notable features of these new Gigabyte Brix mini PCs is USB4 support. The inclusion of two USB4 ports opens the door for high-speed accessories, fast storage devices, docking stations, and external GPU setups.
