Exciting news for Garmin smartwatch enthusiasts! The tech giant has just unveiled Public Beta Version 21.16 for its Forerunner range, including models 165, 255, 265, 955, and 965. This latest update comes hot on the heels of the 21.14 software release, addressing four significant bug fixes to enhance user experience.
Among the improvements, the update resolves issues with custom workouts for certain activities, ensuring a smoother fitness journey. Heart rate data management has also been refined, correcting the addition of this data to the glance folder. Sleep tracking enthusiasts will appreciate the fix for the previously misrecorded sleep data, allowing for more accurate sleep analysis. Additionally, the Other Activities accent color now saves correctly, adding a touch of personalization.
Returning features from the previous beta include the alluring Meditation activity and a fascinating Moon Phase glance, providing users with even more insights and tools for wellness and planning.
The rollout of Beta Version 21.16 is being carried out in phases, with Garmin yet to specify an exact timeline for when all users can expect to receive the update. However, eager users can head to the Main Menu, dive into Settings, select System, and then Software Update to check for and download the update. For the best results and to ensure all new features sync properly, Garmin advises syncing devices over Wi-Fi or using Garmin Express, especially for the new Meditation activity’s audio files.
With these updates, Garmin is once again proving its dedication to enhancing user experience and delivering cutting-edge technology to wristwear. Stay connected and keep your Forerunner updated to enjoy these new features and fixes!
