Garmin is rolling out a fresh public beta update for some of its most popular premium smartwatches, including the Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro. The same beta is also headed to the Enduro 2, Epix (Gen 2), Quatix 7, and Marq (Gen 2), giving owners of these older high-end models another round of refinements aimed at improving day-to-day reliability.
Not every supported watch is included, though. Garmin is still keeping the Marq Aviator (Gen 2) and the Tactix 7 out of its public Beta Program, so users with those devices won’t see this particular test build.
This latest release is called Beta Version 26.03, and it’s only the second update in Garmin’s 26.xx beta cycle so far. Rather than packing in a long list of changes, Beta 26.03 focuses on a couple of targeted fixes designed to make the software behave more consistently.
One of the main adjustments involves the Upload RAM option. Garmin says it has been updated so it only shows up when the watch is actively connected to Garmin Connect. In theory, that’s how it should have worked all along, so this change is essentially a cleanup meant to prevent the option from appearing at the wrong time and confusing users.
The other fix addresses Daily Suggested Workouts. Garmin notes that the feature could sometimes display invalid information for the target type, which could make workouts look incorrect or mismatched. With Beta 26.03, Garmin says this issue has been resolved, which should help keep training guidance more accurate for runners and athletes who rely on daily recommendations.
Beta Version 26.03 is being delivered as an over-the-air update, but it’s rolling out gradually. At the time of release, Garmin is only pushing it to about 20% of beta testers. If you don’t want to wait for the phased rollout, you can try manually checking for updates on your watch to see if it’s available yet.
For Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Enduro 2, Epix Gen 2, Quatix 7, and Marq Gen 2 owners, this is a small but meaningful beta—less about flashy new features and more about ensuring the software stays dependable where it matters most: connectivity options and workout guidance accuracy.
