MediaTek dominates AnTuTu mid-range smartphone rankings as Snapdragon misses the top 10
The latest AnTuTu performance rankings show a major shift in the mid-range smartphone market. While flagship devices often spark debates between competing chipmakers, the mid-range category is telling a very different story. In the price segment selected by AnTuTu, not a single smartphone powered by a Snapdragon processor managed to enter the top 10.
Instead, the ranking is completely dominated by smartphones using MediaTek Dimensity 8400 and Dimensity 8500 series chipsets. This result highlights just how competitive MediaTek has become in the performance-focused mid-range space, where buyers increasingly expect smooth gaming, fast multitasking, and strong everyday speed without paying flagship prices.
Leading the chart is the Vivo iQOO Z11, which achieved an impressive AnTuTu score of 2.33 million points. That result places it comfortably at the top of the mid-range performance list and makes it one of the most powerful smartphones in its category.
In second place is the Honor 600 Pro, scoring 2.18 million points. Close behind is the Honor Win Turbo with 2.17 million points, showing that Honor is also making a strong push in the performance-driven mid-range smartphone market.
The absence of Snapdragon-powered phones from the top 10 is especially notable because Qualcomm chips have traditionally been popular across many Android price segments. However, these latest results suggest that MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 and 8500 series processors are currently offering a stronger benchmark advantage in this specific category.
For smartphone buyers, the ranking is a useful reminder that brand names and chip labels are not the only things that matter. Real-world performance depends on processor design, cooling, software optimization, memory configuration, and how each manufacturer tunes the device. Still, AnTuTu scores remain a popular way to compare raw performance across Android phones.
With MediaTek filling every position in the mid-range top 10, competition in this segment is clearly heating up. If this trend continues, upcoming affordable performance phones may become even more powerful, giving users flagship-like speed at a more accessible price.
