GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition Debuts With a Champion-Inspired Design
GameSir has introduced a new special edition of its G7 Pro 8K PC controller, this time created in collaboration with Royal2, the four-time Halo World Champion and global GameSir brand ambassador. The new GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition keeps the same high-performance hardware as the existing G7 Pro 8K PC lineup, but adds a striking design inspired by the esports star.
The controller comes in a black finish decorated with white speckles, giving it a starry night-style look. It also features glossy black ABXY buttons, a crown design on the charging dock, and Royal2’s signature printed in gold on the right grip. These cosmetic touches help distinguish it from the standard model and make it more appealing to collectors, Halo fans, and competitive PC gamers.
Under the redesigned shell, the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition offers the same feature set as other G7 Pro 8K PC controllers. It includes second-generation GameSir Mag-Res TMR sticks, designed to deliver precise control and improved durability. The controller also supports an 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, which is aimed at players who want ultra-responsive input during fast-paced games.
Other key features include dual-mode trigger stops, four remappable macro buttons, six-axis motion control, and a three-level turbo function. The controller is also equipped with dual asymmetric rumble motors for more immersive feedback and a 3.5mm audio jack for headset support.
For battery life, the Royal2 Edition includes a 1200mAh battery. It ships with a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, a USB Type-C cable, a cable retainer, and two extra D-pads, giving players more flexibility right out of the box.
The GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Royal2 Edition is available for pre-order at $89.99. However, buyers should note that this model is made for PC only, so it is not intended for console use.
