GameSir is preparing to launch yet another special edition of its flagship GameSir G7 Pro controller, and this time it’s inspired by the newly released action title Nioh 3. After recently rolling out multiple limited-look versions of the G7 Pro, the company has now teased a Nioh 3-themed model and shared an early preview ahead of its full reveal.
According to a post from GameSir on X, the upcoming controller is an official collaboration with Koei Tecmo Games and will be unveiled on Wednesday, February 11. The full product name is expected to be the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Nioh 3 Edition, which strongly suggests it’s a PC-focused variant built around the same high-performance specs seen in the G7 Pro 8K lineup.
Based on the naming and what GameSir has released so far, this edition appears to be a PC-only controller featuring an 8,000Hz polling rate, along with the brand’s second-generation Mag-Res TMR thumbsticks. For competitive players, those details matter: high polling rates can help reduce input latency, and newer stick technology is often promoted for smoother, more consistent control.
The teaser image also gives a clear idea of the design direction. The faceplate features a striking dragon motif, paired with red thumbstick caps and a gold-colored D-pad for a bolder, collectible look. Even the ABXY buttons appear customized with typography styled after the Nioh 3 game interface, tying the controller’s visuals closely to the theme. The image also shows a matching charging dock with the game’s name printed on it, suggesting this edition is meant to feel like a complete set rather than just a reskinned controller.
With the design already out in the open, the February 11 announcement will likely focus on the remaining details fans actually need before buying—namely pricing, release timing, and where the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Nioh 3 Edition will be available. For players who want a premium PC controller with a distinctive Nioh 3 aesthetic, this is one launch worth watching.
