GameSir is leaning into gaming-themed gear with a new special-edition controller inspired by Koei Tecmo’s Nioh 3. Called the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC – Nioh 3 Edition, this version of the G7 Pro brings a striking custom look plus high-performance specs aimed squarely at PC players—and it’s already up for pre-order.
The controller’s design takes cues from Nioh 3’s Living Weapon state. You’ll find a dragon motif on the magnetic faceplate, dark “armor-like” grips, and gold accents that make the whole pad feel more like a collectible than a standard accessory. GameSir also includes red thumbstick caps to match the theme, along with a custom charging dock designed specifically for this edition.
On the performance side, the big headline feature is the 8,000Hz polling rate when used with a PC, whether you’re playing wired or via the 2.4GHz wireless connection. That ultra-high polling rate is meant to reduce input latency and improve responsiveness—exactly the kind of spec competitive and fast-action players tend to look for.
The G7 Pro 8K PC – Nioh 3 Edition includes GameSir’s second-generation Mag-Res TMR sticks and Hall Effect triggers. The triggers also come with stops that let you switch between analog input and a faster micro switch trigger feel, giving you flexibility depending on the game you’re playing. For customization, it features four programmable macro buttons, optical micro switch ABXY buttons, and a mechanical micro switch D-pad. There’s also a 6-axis gyroscope for motion input, plus an audio jack that works in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes.
Power comes from a 1,200mAh battery, and players who like to fine-tune their setup can use the GameSir Connect software for esports-style customization. GameSir is also bundling in two extra D-pads, adding more options for those who prefer different directional pad styles for fighters, action games, or classic-style controls.
One important note before you buy: this Nioh 3 Edition is PC-only and does not work with Xbox consoles.
Pricing is set at $89.99, with pre-orders live now and shipping expected between March and April. If you’re a PC gamer looking for a premium controller with a bold Nioh 3 design and top-tier responsiveness, this special edition looks built to stand out both on your desk and in-game.
