With GameNative version 0.7.1, Android users can now access their Epic Games Store library directly on their device, opening the door to playing even more PC games on compatible Android hardware.
Until now, apps like GameHub, GameNative, and Winlator have helped bridge the gap between PC gaming and Android. GameNative in particular has been known for letting users tap into their Steam library on Android. Now, Epic Games Store integration has arrived as well, giving players another major storefront to pull games from—especially useful if you’ve been regularly claiming Epic’s weekly free game giveaways and have built up a sizable collection.
According to the project notes, Epic Games Store support was added in version 0.7.1, contributed by a user named @phobos665. For owners of capable Android handhelds, such as the Retroid Pocket 5, this update means your Epic library can sit alongside your existing collection, making GameNative a more flexible option for playing PC games on Android.
Setting up Epic Games integration in GameNative is fairly simple. After installing the latest GameNative release, open the app and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner. From there, go into Settings, scroll until you find the Epic Games integration option, and tap it to bring up a login dialog. Choose “Open Epic Login” to launch an Epic sign-in page in your browser. After you sign in, Epic will display an authorization code. Copy that code, paste it into the GameNative dialog box, then tap “login.” Once you see a “login successful” message, your Epic Games Store library should appear inside GameNative.
Beyond Epic Games Store support, GameNative version 0.7.1 also introduces several improvements aimed at smoother performance and better usability. The update includes new Turnip drivers for Snapdragon 8 Elite devices, dual-screen support, a simpler method for properly closing games, and the ability to add drives—features that should help advanced users fine-tune their setup and expand storage options for larger PC game libraries.
