Galaxy Book 4 Series Experiences Robust Sales in South Korea

Samsung’s newest addition to its premium laptop segment, the Galaxy Book 4 series, has been met with considerable success in South Korea. The series, which includes the Galaxy Book 4 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, has surpassed sales of 100,000 units at the end of February—a notable achievement just weeks following its release in the retail market.

This rapid sales pace outpaces that of its predecessors, with the Galaxy Book 4 hitting this milestone a full six weeks quicker. This surge in sales has been credited to several factors, including the laptops’ incorporation of the latest processors, which enhance performance in AI applications, and their provision of an exceptional user experience.

The Galaxy Book 4 series leverages AI technology, but it’s important to clarify that it differs from the AI features found in the Galaxy S24. The laptops employ Microsoft Copilot to offer a range of AI capabilities such as the ability to sync messages with Galaxy smartphones and tablets, offer intelligent summaries of messages, suggest replies, and the innovative feature of using a Galaxy smartphone or tablet as a secondary display or an external webcam.

Galaxy Book 4 Pro Leads the Pack

In terms of popularity within the series, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro stands out, capturing 70% of the total sales. However, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is not far behind and has doubled the sales figures of the previous Ultra model, particularly the version sporting the Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU. The upcoming variant with the RTX 4070 GPU is expected to boost sales even further when it becomes available for pre-order.

The Pro and Pro 360 models are offered with a choice of Intel onboard graphics or an Intel Arc GPU, catering to different user needs. All variations are powered by the latest 14th-gen Intel Core Ultra processors that benefit from an advanced cooling system, including a larger vapor chamber to handle thermal stress. Each model is also designed with touchscreens for intuitive navigation and comes preinstalled with Windows 11 Home, emphasizing usability and convenience.

Additionally, Samsung has introduced the non-Pro variant of the Galaxy Book 4 360, although its availability is limited to certain markets like India, with no clear indication of a wider global release.
