Fish Them All! Turns Casual Fishing Into a 100 Million Fish Challenge
Fish Them All! is a new pixel-art incremental fishing game that takes a peaceful pastime and pushes it into wonderfully absurd territory. Developed by Japanese indie studio Piisu, the game challenges players to catch a staggering 100 million fish from a colorful virtual ocean.
The idea sounds simple at first: hop into a boat, drop a hook into the water, catch fish, earn money, and buy upgrades. Each fishing run lasts around 60 seconds, making the game easy to pick up for quick sessions. But like many addictive incremental games, the real fun begins when small improvements start snowballing into huge results.
At the beginning, players may only catch one fish at a time. After upgrading movement speed, hook size, and catch capacity, a single attempt can quickly turn into hundreds or even thousands of fish hauled in at once. What starts as a modest fishing trip soon becomes a full-scale ocean-clearing operation.
As progression ramps up, Fish Them All! becomes increasingly chaotic. Players can unlock divers that automatically gather fish, use explosions to wipe out entire schools, and eventually deploy drones and UFOs to boost their fishing empire. Traditional rods and hooks are only the beginning in this over-the-top take on the fishing genre.
The ocean also becomes stranger as players advance. New creatures appear throughout the game, including squid, giant sharks, and teleporting sea urchins. These additions help keep each stage feeling fresh as the numbers grow larger and the fishing methods become more ridiculous.
According to the developer, the full PC version of Fish Them All! is expected to take around four to five hours to complete. A free demo is currently available on Steam, offering roughly 30 to 40 minutes of gameplay. The demo supports Windows, macOS, and Steam Deck, and includes 14 language options.
Fish Them All! is also part of Steam Next Fest, running from October 19 to 26, giving players a chance to try the game ahead of its full PC launch. A release date and price for the PC version have not yet been announced. An earlier mobile version launched in July 2026.
With its pixel-art style, short gameplay sessions, upgrade-driven progression, and absurd 100 million fish goal, Fish Them All! looks set to appeal to fans of idle games, incremental games, casual fishing games, and quirky indie titles. Whether it ends up feeling relaxing, addictive, or completely unhinged, one thing is certain: this is not your average fishing trip.
