FEVM’s Tiny Powerhouse Packs Desktop AMD CPUs and RTX 5090 Graphics

FEVM FA80G Mini PC Launches With Desktop AMD Ryzen CPUs and Nvidia RTX Laptop Graphics

FEVM has introduced the FA80G, a new high-performance mini PC for the Chinese market that combines desktop-class AMD Ryzen processors with powerful Nvidia RTX Laptop GPUs. Despite its compact 2.6-liter chassis, the system is designed to deliver serious gaming, creator, and workstation performance in a space-saving form factor.

The FA80G stands out because it uses AMD AM5 desktop processors rather than soldered mobile chips. That gives the system more flexibility for future upgrades and makes it more appealing to users who want mini PC convenience without giving up desktop-style performance.

FEVM is offering seven configurations. The entry-level model comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8GB of VRAM. Buyers can also choose the same Ryzen 7 9700X processor with a more powerful RTX 5080 Laptop GPU featuring 16GB of VRAM.

For gamers looking for stronger performance, the mid-range options include the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, also available with either the RTX 5060 8GB Laptop GPU or RTX 5080 16GB Laptop GPU. This configuration could be especially attractive for gaming-focused users, as AMD’s X3D processors are widely known for their strong performance in games thanks to their additional cache.

Higher-end models move up to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, with GPU options reaching the Nvidia RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB of VRAM. At the very top of the lineup is the Ryzen 9 9950X3D configuration, which is offered only with the RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. This version is aimed at users who want maximum performance from a compact desktop replacement, whether for high-end gaming, 3D rendering, video editing, or demanding multitasking.

According to FEVM, the FA80G can push the processor up to 90W, while the GPU can deliver up to 150W of performance. For such a small system, those are ambitious power targets. To manage heat, the mini PC uses a cooling system with four heat pipes and what the company describes as zoned heat source management. This design is intended to separate and control heat from key components, helping the CPU and GPU maintain stable performance under heavy workloads.

Memory and storage support are also generous for a mini PC. The FA80G includes two SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM. For storage, it offers two M.2 slots, with each slot expected to support high-capacity SSDs of up to 8TB. That gives users the potential to configure the machine with a large amount of fast storage for games, media projects, software development, and professional files.

Connectivity is another strong point. Even with its compact size, the FEVM FA80G includes a wide range of ports. The system features two USB Type-C ports, six USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, one HDMI 2.1 port, two DisplayPort 2.0 outputs, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This makes it suitable for multi-monitor setups, fast wired networking, external storage, peripherals, and content creation workflows.

The port selection is similar to the previous FA65G model, but the FA80G brings newer and more powerful hardware options, especially with the inclusion of AMD Ryzen 9000-series and X3D processors alongside Nvidia’s latest laptop-class RTX graphics.

In China, pricing starts at around CNY 7,599, which is approximately $1,132, for the barebone-style configuration with the Ryzen 7 9700X and RTX 5060. The flagship model with the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5090 is priced at around CNY 24,199, or about $3,605.

There is currently no official confirmation regarding international availability. However, given the growing demand for compact gaming PCs and high-performance mini desktops, the FEVM FA80G could attract attention from global buyers if it becomes available through international retail channels.

With desktop AMD Ryzen processors, upgrade-friendly AM5 support, Nvidia RTX graphics, up to 128GB of DDR5 memory, dual M.2 storage, and a strong port selection, the FEVM FA80G looks like a serious option for users who want a powerful mini PC that does not feel limited by its size.
