Fenix E06R Pro RG Launches With Red Light, 1,600 Lumens, USB-C Charging, and a Slim EDC Design
Fenix has introduced the E06R Pro RG, a new version of its slim everyday carry flashlight designed for users who want multiple lighting tools in one compact device. This updated model keeps the same flat, elongated body as the existing E06R Pro, but swaps the UV light for a red light, making it a more practical option for night vision preservation, signaling, camping, inspection tasks, and outdoor use.
The Fenix E06R Pro RG measures around 4.7 inches long and weighs just over 3.5 ounces, giving it a pocket-friendly shape while still offering a strong set of lighting features. Its housing remains unchanged, so users familiar with the earlier model will find the same general design, controls, and built-in battery setup. The battery is permanently integrated and recharges through USB-C.
One of the biggest highlights of the E06R Pro RG is its versatile lighting system. It includes a red light, a white floodlight, a white spotlight, and a green laser. This combination makes the flashlight useful in a wide range of situations, from close-range illumination to longer-distance visibility and pointing tasks.
When the white floodlight and spotlight are used together, the flashlight can reach up to 525 feet. In its highest turbo setting, it produces up to 1,600 lumens, although this maximum output is designed for short bursts rather than long-term continuous use. For extended operation, the flashlight can run for a little over two hours, with brightness gradually stepping down as the battery level decreases.
For users who need long runtime instead of maximum brightness, the moonlight mode is a strong advantage. Both white light options can deliver more than 100 hours of use in this low-output setting, making the E06R Pro RG suitable for emergency kits, night walks, travel, camping, and everyday carry setups.
The flashlight also includes an illuminated ring and two signal LEDs. These can be used together to attract attention, with multiple colors and flashing patterns available. This feature adds extra value for outdoor safety, roadside emergencies, and visibility in low-light environments.
Although the USB-C charging port is exposed, Fenix still rates the flashlight for dust and water resistance with an IP66 rating. That means the E06R Pro RG is built to handle challenging environments, including rain, dust, and general outdoor use.
The Fenix E06R Pro RG is priced at $85, making it about $10 more expensive than the standard E06R Pro version with the UV lamp. It is available in three color options: black, olive, and signal orange.
