For those familiar with ASUS’s lineup, the video provides brief but exciting flashes of their newest Z890 motherboard series. First on the scene is the ROG Z890 Maximum board, tailored for enthusiasts craving top-tier performance. The ROG Maximus series has been a staple for ASUS, featuring models like ROG Maximus Formula, Apex Encore, and Dark Hero—names already synonymous with excellence in the Z790 lineup.
As the video unfolds, it highlights several high-end ROG Z890 motherboards. One of the striking features includes an M.2 heatsink elegantly joined with the motherboard’s chipset, complete with the iconic ROG logo. Another standout design element is the I/O shroud, boasting a customizable LCD screen. Variations in the I/O shroud designs point to the diversity within the ROG Maximus series, which will include the Extreme and HERO models.
The excitement doesn’t end there. ASUS also teases the rugged Z890 TUF Gaming motherboard, proudly highlighted by the phrase “GET TUF GAME TOUGH.” Following closely is the Prime Z890 motherboard, whose I/O shroud design echoes that of the Prime X870-P motherboard for AMD Ryzen 9000 processors. The Prime series is known for offering gamers affordable yet powerful options.
Further into the teaser, we are treated to a look at a HERO model from the ROG Z890 series, particularly favored by overclockers. The video wraps up with yet another ROG board, bearing the bold motto “FOR THOSE WHO DARE.” Altogether, there appear to be 6 to 7 motherboards showcased, but it’s likely ASUS has even more up their sleeve, expected to be revealed following the official launch.
