Motorola has unveiled a stylish new look for the Edge 60 Pro in China, now sporting an elegant wooden finish. Originally launched in April with three colors and two material finishes, this device joins the Razr 60 Ultra as part of Motorola’s 2025 lineup featuring real wood backs.
While Motorola often opts for materials like vegan leather, they occasionally surprise us with unique finishes. The Razr 60 Ultra, for instance, offers four finishes, including wood, Alcantara, vegan leather, and a satin version exclusive to North America. This wooden design harks back to the 2014 Moto X.
Now, the Edge 60 Pro, initially released in Dazzling Blue (nylon-like texture), Sparkling Grape, and Shadow (both faux leather), has embraced the natural elegance of wood with its new Basswood Walnut edition. Unlike its Razr counterpart, this model boasts a distinct wood grain pattern, showcasing the beauty of real wood.
Feature-wise, this new look shares the same impressive specs as its siblings, though it’s exclusively available in the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. While it’s unclear if this variant will be seen outside of China, the limited availability of other finishes suggests it might remain exclusive. Meanwhile, fans elsewhere can look forward to the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which is set to debut in a fresh new color soon.
