Ecovacs has unveiled the innovative Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum, a standout among its latest offerings showcased at IFA 2024. This cutting-edge model debuts the brand’s fresh mopping function, marking a significant advancement in home cleaning technology.
The Deebot X8 Pro utilizes the powerful Ozmo Roller, which applies an impressive 4,000 Pa of downward pressure and rotates 200 times per minute. A sophisticated system of 16 internal nozzles sprays fresh water onto the mop, ensuring it stays clean during the cleaning process. Equipped with AI-driven dirt detection, the robot can identify and focus on areas needing extra attention.
For vacuuming, the Deebot X8 Pro boasts a remarkable suction power of up to 12,900 Pa. The new Zero Tangle 2.0 brush is engineered to prevent hair from knotting, making maintenance easier. Additionally, a second edge brush extends from the side to ensure thorough cleaning of corners and hard-to-reach areas.
Accompanying the robot is the new, compact Omni Station, which handles charging and maintenance. This station automatically empties the onboard water tank and dustbins, cleans the mop with hot water, and dries it with hot air, streamlining the entire cleaning process.
Speculation points to a 2025 release for the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop. However, the exact launch date and pricing details are yet to be announced.
