Ecovacs Launches Deebot X12 OmniCyclone: A New Flagship Robot Vacuum Powered by FocusJet Technology

Ecovacs is expanding its Deebot robot vacuum lineup in Europe with a new flagship model: the Deebot X12 OmniCyclone. Positioned as the direct follow-up to last year’s Deebot X11 OmniCyclone, this latest release focuses on more powerful stain removal, smarter automation, and longer hands-free maintenance for busy households.

One of the headline upgrades is Ecovacs’ new FocusJet technology, which the company says is designed to tackle stubborn stains more effectively while delivering a deeper overall clean. For homes dealing with sticky spills, high-traffic floors, and everyday grime, Ecovacs is clearly aiming to make the X12 a better fit for intensive cleaning routines rather than just light dust pickup.

The Deebot X12 OmniCyclone also features OZMO Roller 3.0 mopping technology. Its 27 cm mop roller is built to cover more floor space in each pass, and Ecovacs says the roller stays continuously clean while it works. For edge work, TruEdge 3.0 extreme edge cleaning is designed to reach within 1 mm of room edges, helping the robot get closer to baseboards and corners where dirt often collects. When the vacuum detects carpets, it can automatically lift the roller to reduce the risk of dampening carpeted areas.

For vacuuming performance, the X12 includes a ZeroTangle 4.0 brush system intended to reduce hair wrap—an important feature for pet owners and households with long hair. It also brings “blast suction” airflow technology, which is meant to improve pickup performance by pushing higher airflow through the system.

Like its predecessor, the Deebot X12 OmniCyclone comes with an intelligent docking station built to reduce manual upkeep. The dock includes Pure Cyclone 2.0 auto-empty functionality, along with a quick-clean scraper ring, heated water cleaning, and dual-action detergents to support more automated mop maintenance. Ecovacs says the self-cleaning docking station can enable up to 48 days of hands-free cleaning, depending on usage and home conditions.

Smart features are also a major part of the pitch. Ecovacs integrates Agent YIKO 2.0, an AI agent that can plan and control cleaning on its own. It’s designed to analyze the living environment and usage habits to create individualized cleaning plans, reducing the need for constant adjustments and manual scheduling.

Additional features mentioned for the Deebot X12 OmniCyclone include dirty water box auto cleaning, powerboost charging plus, fresh-flow power washing, and a TruePass adaptive 4-wheel-drive climbing system to help the robot move more confidently around the home.

Pricing and availability: the Ecovacs Deebot X12 OmniCyclone is now available in Europe for €1,399 via Otto and other retailers.
