Dreame’s Next-Gen Ultra-Slim Robot Vacuum Is Launching Soon—and It Looks Seriously Powerful

Dreame is getting ready to roll out a new top-tier robot vacuum and mop in the US: the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete. Positioned as the next step up from the earlier X50 Ultra Complete, this flagship model packs noticeable upgrades aimed at deeper cleaning, smarter navigation, and more hands-off maintenance—especially for busy homes with pets, carpets, and hard floors.

The headline improvement is power. The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is rated for up to 35,000 Pa of suction, a big jump from the 20,000 Pa offered by the previous generation. That extra muscle is designed to pull more debris out of rugs and cracks while improving everyday pickup on hardwood, tile, and laminate. Dreame pairs the stronger suction with its HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush 2.0 system, featuring thicker brush strips intended to boost cleaning performance and help manage hair and tangles more effectively.

Mopping is also a major focus. The robot uses DreameGlide mopping technology with dual pads that rotate up to 230 times per minute. It applies 15N of downward pressure and uses warm water at around 40°C (104°F) to help loosen grime and improve wipe-down results on hard floors. For homes that mix carpet and hard flooring, the robot can lift its mops when it detects carpet, helping prevent wet fabric and reducing the chance of streaking or soaking.

To make cleaning more adaptive, the X60 Max Ultra Complete includes an integrated light that helps it detect and identify dirt more accurately, then adjust cleaning behavior as needed. That means it can react in real time instead of running the same routine across every room, which can be especially useful in darker areas or along baseboards where dust tends to build up.

Design and mobility are clearly part of the upgrade list, too. Dreame says the X60 Max Ultra Complete has a retractable LDS module and a slim profile measuring about 3.13 inches (7.95 cm) tall, which should help it reach under more beds, sofas, and cabinetry. It also uses a FlexiAdapt chassis to get over low-lying obstacles, improving the chances it won’t get stuck on common household transitions.

Battery capacity is bumped up as well, with a 6,400 mAh battery meant to support longer cleaning sessions or larger homes without frequent recharging.

At its smart docking station, the robot is built for minimal daily involvement. The dock handles emptying the dust bin and refilling water tanks as needed. It also washes the mop pads using very hot water—up to 212°F (100°C)—to help keep the mopping system cleaner between runs. Like other high-end robot cleaners, the X60 Max Ultra Complete can be controlled and managed remotely through Dreame’s app, making it easier to schedule cleanings, adjust settings, and monitor progress from anywhere.

Release date and price details are already set for the United States. The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete launches February 10th with a retail price of $1,699.99. Dreame is also offering a pre-order deal worth noting: a $750 discount that brings the price down to $1,359.99, plus a free Busy-Home Bundle that includes accessories and cleaning solutions. For shoppers outside the US, European release details haven’t been announced yet.
