Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince Set to Make Its Mark on PC and Smartphones

Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince will be released for PC and smartphones this fall. The game will be available on Windows PC through Steam, as well as on iOS and Android devices starting September 11th.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, a spinoff sequel, has been accessible globally on the Nintendo Switch since December 2023.

In this new adventure, players will step into the shoes of Psaro, a character cursed and unable to harm anything with monster blood. To overcome this, Psaro becomes a Monster Wrangler, assembling an army for battle. His journey leads him through the diverse and ever-changing landscapes of Nadiria, featuring rivers of bubbling lava, ancient ruins, and towers made of cake. Along the way, he is joined by Rose, a kind-hearted elf, who assists him in his quest.

A key gameplay element is the synthesis ability, which allows Psaro to combine two monsters to create a stronger successor. Each new synthesis brings Psaro closer to his goal of becoming the Master of Monsterkind.
