The latest version of DLSS Swapper is here, packed with exciting improvements designed to make updating DLSS easier and more accessible for gamers worldwide.
Brad Moore, the mastermind behind DLSS Swapper, has launched version 1.2 of this popular update tool. For those who may not be familiar, DLSS Swapper allows gamers to update their DLSS files without needing the NVIDIA App. It offers the flexibility to swap DLSS .DLL files in games, either upgrading to newer versions or reverting to older ones, without the hassle of manual searching.
Version 1.2 introduces several new features. One of the highlights is DLSS Presets, which can now be toggled on a per-game basis or globally. Gamers can find these presets in both the Game Picker page and the Global Override. However, activating these presets requires a driver profile for the specific game; if that’s missing, activation won’t work. Interestingly, presets A to E have been deprecated in this update, with preset K becoming the new standard. This shift is likely due to its superior balance between visual quality and performance.
Another major advancement is the addition of multiple language supports. The software now supports at least seven languages, including English (AU, UK, US), Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan). This new feature makes the tool more accessible to millions of gamers globally. For those whose language isn’t supported, there’s a guide to create custom translations.
In terms of usability, the update also enhances DLL display and management. Users will find it more convenient, as DLL versions are now displayed more clearly. The tool automatically removes outdated backups when updating DLSS to prevent confusion. However, users still have access to a detailed game history page, providing logs of DLL changes. Additionally, AMD FSR now utilizes internal version numbers for more straightforward tracking, replacing the previous vague numbering system.
This update promises to streamline the DLSS updating process, making it more user-friendly and efficient for gamers everywhere.
