New leaks are giving DJI fans an even clearer look at what could be the company’s next big vlogging release: the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro (often shortened to Osmo Pocket 4P). While DJI has been teasing new gear, fresh footage has surfaced showing the unreleased compact camera appearing in the background of a new video captured by Igor Bogdanov.
In the clip, the Osmo Pocket 4P can be spotted before being controlled with a small remote. What makes this sighting especially interesting is what happens next: that same remote appears to attach to a phone gimbal that looks similar to DJI’s Osmo Mobile lineup. This is fueling speculation that DJI is planning tighter connectivity between its handheld vlogging camera and its smartphone stabilizers than ever before.
According to recent leaks, the gimbal shown is believed to be the Osmo Mobile 8P, and it’s expected to launch alongside the same compact remote featured in the footage. If accurate, this could point to a more seamless ecosystem experience—letting creators switch between a pocket-sized camera and a phone-based setup while keeping a shared remote control workflow. For vloggers and mobile filmmakers, that kind of integration could make shooting on the go faster, simpler, and more consistent across devices.
DJI has already hinted that the Osmo Mobile 8P will arrive on April 21 in China, but there’s still no confirmation of a global release date. It’s also not yet clear whether the Osmo Pocket 4P will be announced on the same day, or if DJI will roll it out separately. Earlier expectations suggested DJI’s next dual-lens vlogging camera might not debut until June 2026, so an earlier appearance would be a notable shift in the timeline.
For now, the video sighting adds to the growing pile of evidence that DJI is preparing a new wave of creator-focused gear, potentially centered on better cross-device control and smarter accessories. With the April 21 date approaching, the next few weeks could bring the clearest answers yet about when the Osmo Pocket 4P is actually launching—and how it fits into DJI’s broader Osmo ecosystem.
