DJI has unveiled its latest innovation in FPV technology with the release of the Goggles N3 headset. This new model showcases advanced features designed to enhance the user experience for drone enthusiasts and professionals alike.
One of the standout features of the Goggles N3 is its incorporation of the OcuSync 4 (O4) video transmission system. This cutting-edge technology offers an impressive video transmission bitrate of up to 60 Mbps, ensuring high-quality video streaming. The 2T4R antenna design further supports this by delivering stunning 1080p/60 FPS footage from distances as far as 13 kilometers with a remarkable latency of just 31 ms.
To complement its powerful video capabilities, the Goggles N3 is equipped with SyncSmooth technology. This feature is specifically designed to provide ultra-smooth footage, enhancing the overall viewing experience while still maintaining up to 2.7 hours of battery life — an impressive feat for long sessions of use.
In terms of design, the Goggles N3 is both lightweight and compact, weighing only 536 grams when including the battery and headband. Its dimensions measure 193 × 163 × 103 mm, without considering the antennas, which contributes to its comfortable, ergonomic feel during use.
DJI plans to release the Goggles N3 in various markets starting later this month. The product will be available as part of a Motion Fly More Combo, priced at €529 in the Eurozone, which includes an RC Motion 3 controller, three batteries, and a Two-Way Charging Hub. Although DJI has not yet announced the pricing for the US market, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating further details.
With this new offering, DJI continues to lead and innovate in the world of drone technology, providing users with tools that push the boundaries of what is possible in aerial filming and photography. Keep an eye out for the Goggles N3 — it’s set to make waves in the FPV community.
