DJI’s next pocket-sized vlogging camera is almost here. After months of steady leaks and speculation, the company has now confirmed that the Osmo Pocket 4 will officially launch on April 16. All signs point to a worldwide release, making it a major date for creators who want a compact camera that’s ready for travel, everyday filming, and on-the-go content.
In the lead-up to the announcement, DJI has been teasing the Osmo Pocket 4 while keeping key specs under wraps for now. Still, a fresh wave of promotional images shared online offers a clearer idea of what buyers can expect. Most notably, the images strongly suggest the Osmo Pocket 4 is built around a single-camera setup, which helps separate it from rumors of a possible Osmo Pocket 4 Pro that could arrive later with different hardware.
The leaked visuals also spotlight what may be included in the box, giving vloggers and mobile filmmakers a better sense of the full kit. DJI appears to be bundling a compact carry case and a lanyard, a practical touch for anyone who uses a pocket gimbal camera for walking shots, travel videos, or fast setup situations. There’s also a battery handle shown, and it looks noticeably shorter than the battery handle that ships with the Osmo Pocket 3—hinting at a more streamlined, packable accessory lineup this time around.
One of the most interesting additions is an LED flashlight attachment that’s getting a closer look ahead of launch. First spotted earlier this year, the accessory is designed to slide over the back of the Osmo Pocket 4 and lock into place with magnets. The latest images indicate it connects through four pogo pins and includes dedicated controls for brightness and color temperature. That’s a meaningful upgrade for creators who often film in low light, indoors, or at night and want a simple, camera-mounted lighting option without building a larger rig.
Right now, expectations are that this LED light—along with other accessories shown in the leaks—will be packaged as part of DJI’s Creator Combo. If that holds true, the Osmo Pocket 4 could be positioned as an even more complete ready-to-shoot vlogging bundle from day one, aimed at creators who want better lighting control and a compact setup without extra fuss.
With April 16 approaching quickly, DJI’s Osmo Pocket 4 launch is shaping up to be one of the more anticipated compact camera releases for vloggers and content creators looking for a small, stabilized camera kit that’s easy to carry and fast to use.
