DJI Avata 360 Leaks Early: $999 FPV Drone Promises Immersive 360° Flight

DJI’s next FPV-focused drone may be closer than expected. A US retailer, US Drone Supply, claims DJI is preparing to launch the Avata 360 and that it will be sold in multiple bundles aimed at different types of pilots, from first-time FPV flyers to enthusiasts who want longer sessions with extra batteries.

According to the retailer’s listing details, the DJI Avata 360 would start at $999 for a base bundle that includes the drone and a single battery. From there, buyers may be able to step up to Fly More Bundles that add more batteries for longer flight time and fewer pauses between charges. The version with one extra battery is said to cost $1,299.99, while the bundle with three batteries could come in at $1,799.99.

There’s also mention of a Motion Fly More Bundle that takes a different approach to control. Rather than including an RC 2 controller, this package is rumored to pair the drone with DJI Goggles N3, signaling a setup designed to emphasize immersive FPV flying.

It’s worth keeping expectations flexible on price. The same retailer notes that these figures could be higher than what DJI ultimately announces, meaning official pricing may land a bit lower when the company makes everything public.

As for availability, US Drone Supply suggests pre-orders could begin shipping in late February. If that timeline is accurate, it points to an official DJI Avata 360 release happening within the next few weeks. There’s also the possibility that China will be the first market to get the Avata 360, based on how recent launches have rolled out. If that pattern continues, DJI may start teasing a China release very soon, potentially within the next week.
