Known internally as a 2x Travis + 6x Gelas configuration, the exact nature of “Travis” and “Gelas” remains a mystery, leaving tech enthusiasts wondering if they’re mere placeholders or something innovative.
The Dimensity 9500 is rumored to achieve a 4 GHz frequency, marking a significant 10% increase over its predecessor, the Dimensity 9400. Nevertheless, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite still leads with a higher ceiling at 4.32 GHz.
As for performance expectations, the Dimensity 9500 is anticipated to bring substantial upgrades.
